Environmental psychology can guide us in creating calming, restorative spaces to discuss dream homes with clients. The light gives off a softer, warm glow on the floor and gaps in the grayscale backdrop. A subdued color palette and flexible, casual layout subtly reveal a sense of profoundness. This setting allows for thoughtful reflections on clients’ expectations and needs, helping to refine ideas with a clear mind.
An office with a high ceiling increases the flow of natural light into the space. Besides, an open layout allows the natural illumination to spread throughout the entire space, with soft white glows blending into shades of gray. Gentle curves embrace round shapes and soft edges, creating a flowing aesthetic and guiding the eyes more smoothly through spaces. A serene and cozy work environment is created by breaking up the rigidity of straight lines.
The front door opens into a semi-open layout, inviting a sense of depth and transparency. Not only does the semi-open floor plan create a sense of spaciousness and flow, but it also makes the best use of the space. On the first floor, partition walls separate the office area from the break room. The walls are covered with hand-applied plaster, offering a warm, textured surface that evokes a sense of authenticity that resonates with the Wabi-Sabi ethos. The seating area features partitions with rough stone veneer, continuing the natural and unrefined aesthetic. The partition wall behind is accented with fair-faced concrete hollow bricks, adding a harmonious touch to the space’s overall tone. On the ceiling, the beam is softened with gentle curves to smooth out sharp angles. The rounded curves on the feature wall and corridor create a harmonious sense of visual continuity throughout the space.
