The homeowner, fond of wood tones, hopes to showcase the natural textures of the materials in the space. Therefore, a variety of wood grains and shades dominate the space, combined with a soft lighting scheme and greenery, making this multi-floor design not only a functional space but also a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. The open layout promotes smooth and clear movement. Visual continuity is seen with the use of wooden elements. The beige color makes a great base for the wall. Along with bold and vivid sofas, beige furniture pieces, and gray curtains, the fresh earth-tone palette creates a lively yet understated home.
Brown wood grains in cool tones complement the deadwood bonsai, creating a focal point at the entrance. The pots are hand-painted, meanwhile the diffused light casts a gentle and warm glow, outlining a simple yet timeless entryway. On the left side, a transparent dome-shaped display platform is connected to storage cabinets to create privacy and enhance the division between the living room and the entryway. The wood flooring leads to the living room. Natural wood knots and sleek lattice make the main wall look layered and visually rich. A cohesive color palette ensures visual harmony, while the cleverly designed hidden door can blend seamlessly into the overall aesthetic of the space along with a straight groove, showcasing simple yet refined design details. A half-height low wall delineates the boundary between the living and dining areas, visually expanding the space and allowing abundant natural light to flow through. The kitchen wall features a niche design with an embedded display cabinet for the homeowner’s mug collection from travels. Earth-toned kitchen appliances echo the overall theme of the space to keep infusing the environment with a soothing atmosphere. The bedroom continues the natural and relaxed feel of the public spaces. A curved ceiling reduces the feeling of confinement caused by a low beam. Wooded elements transform the bedroom into a serene sanctuary that promotes relaxation and a good night’s sleep.
