Miguel Pallarès López studied at the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, following the courses of Emilio Tunon, Luis Mansilla and Francisco Alonso. He graduated as an architect in 1999 and opened his own practice. Miguel then moved to Milan where he collaborated with Antonio Citterio and Partners, managing various projects and competitions. From 2003 to 2005 he collaborated with Herzog & DeMeuron in Basel on the Santa Cruz de Tenerife projects, managing the Puerto de Santa Cruz and Plaza de Espaňa projects. He then returned to Milan and began his collaboration with Piuarch, becoming an associate a few years later. Miguel has been project leader of some of the firm's most important projects over the years, including the Dolce & Gabbana headquarters in Milan, the Quattro Corti Business Center in St. Petersburg, the Givenchy flagship store in Seoul and the IDF Habitat headquarters in Champigny sur Marne. Miguel is currently leading the Human Tecnopole Headquarters & Campus project within the extensive redevelopment project of MIND – Milano Innovation District, the former Expo Area in Milan.
