Shanghai Children’s Nutrition Center (hereinafter referred to as Shang’er) was founded by Su Zufei, a renowned pediatrician, medical educator, founder of modern children’s nutrition in China, founder of China’s first children’s hospital (Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine Affiliated Children’s Hospital), and founder of China’s first children’s nutrition research laboratory. It is a member of the United Nations “Every Woman, Every Child” China Partner Network and was personally named by former Chinese President Li Xiannian in 1988.

Upholding Su Zufei’s spirit of “serving the health of children, this is the most caring cause under the sun”, Shang’er has gathered numerous well-known experts from major medical institutions, universities, research institutes, and the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention across the country, focusing on product and technology research in the field of nutrition and health for pregnant and infant children, and dedicated to professional services for nutrition and health for pregnant and infant children.
