The IFC shopping complex in Hong Kong’s first concept store with the high-end series “L’Elixir” theme belongs to the globally recognized brand “VALMONT.”. The collection is dominated by black and gold, so the entire store will use black marble and rose gold stainless steel and glass as the main materials because the “L’Elixir” series features the same theme. With the concept of snow mountain and honeycomb, the store uses a large number of transparent materials to allow guests to walk into a light and shadow space full of product elements.
The arc-shaped column to the right of the main entrance is decorated with bees and snowy mountains using special paint. The bright glass entryway exposes the LOGO of the “L’Elixir” series as continuous luminous lines that progress layer by layer and extend from the top of the main entrance to the left.
The mirrored ceiling and the radioactive line texture of the marble pattern on the floor provide the impression that the entire store spreads outwards, with the graphic display standing in the middle. On weekdays, the rotating display stand will display the most recent commercials. The glass columns produce the illusion of diffused light and shadow. Seasonal artwork will also be regularly displayed on the central pedestal, demonstrating VALMONT’s appreciation for the arts.
When you walk into the store, you will first see golden discs engraved with a grid pattern. These discs are like ripples that lead people into the store. Every gold disc with an engraving denotes that every drop of “L’Elixir” has the essence. And below, a pedestal with a snow mountain shape made of numerous undulating translucent acrylic pieces that looks like a Swiss snow mountain tells the brand’s story.
You will first be drawn to the gleaming glass wall on the left while standing outside the store and looking inside. Over a hundred pieces of amber glass make up this unusual wall. The transparent wall has repeating patterns and a tint similar to a honeycomb. The anti-reactivity of the tapered glass bricks and the light coming through the dazzling wall behind produce a diamond-like shine, emphasizing the product’s value. It appears the skin recovers to its most radiant state after utilizing these products.
The glass container wall on the right aims to convey the technological prowess of the company and its products, while the amber glass wall on the left depicts the production level. Each product series is presented in a glass container that resembles a lab. Glass packaging suggests that each product is meticulously chained in a Swiss laboratory.
Customers entering the store will notice a hidden area behind the passageway through the distinctive glass screen as they proceed. It is a VIP-only art salon for the brand’s elite clients. The brand will be repurchased globally, and the location will occasionally change. The appropriate work can be introduced on the ground using the built-in projection mechanism in the chandelier mentioned above. The seating area is designed as an open arc-shaped honeycomb opening inspired by the product’s honey element.
Finally, the store has a well-designed spa room. The ceiling is made of gold leaf, the walls are covered with special art paint, and next to it is a wardrobe made of gold engraving so that guests can experience top-tier services.
